    The Au Martin Pêcheur is a Chambre d'Hote or Bed and Breakfast with a Gite which was originally the  school  for  the  hamlet of 'La Chaudeau' and nestles within the forest of the Vosges  and alongside the River Semouse. The border between Lorraine and Franche Comté are the Semouse and the little stream that runs alongside the property.
Au Martin Pêcheur  at 'La Chaudeau' is situated on the 'route thermale' with the ancient Spa towns of Bains-les-Bains and Plombières-les-Bains only a short drive away. It is also ideally suited for those who love the countryside for cycling, walking, bird watching, fishing and exploring the many historic places of interest over the Vosges mountains in Alsace, and in the departments of the Vosges and  Haute Saône.




 
 

Alternatively one can just sit quietly and relax by one of the woodland glades or by one of the many rivers and watch the wild life which range from Pine Marten to Red Squirrel and Deer to Wild Boar.
